high-school senior and tumblr-blogger, chrissy, needs someone to talk to. when both her mother and father refuse to send her to see a therapist, chrissy decides to steal her mother’s car, pick up her out-of-state internet boyfriend, and run away forever to live with her grandparents.

however, everything is not as it seems for chrissy and her boyfriend, dawn. when the two meet up for the first time, they quickly realize neither of them are very much like their tumblr profiles. now, the two teens must try to get along and get to know each other all over again on their multiple-hour, multiple-day, road trip.
